Home About Us About Irvine

In 2000 the state of Maryland gave Irvine a gift of 116-acres in the heart of the Caves Valley area of Baltimore County. Surrounded by 1,200 acres of land held in conservation easement, this is the ideal property on which we have constructed a new facility dedicated to sharing nature's wonder with current and future generations of Marylanders.  Phase One of the project was completed in the summer of 2008 and Irvine has moved its operations.  The center is open to the public.  Stay tuned as Irvine's Board, Staff and Volunteers unveil plans for Phase Two of the project.  Please visit our gallery to see images of the Caves Valley and the new nature center.
