Irvine Nature Center

In an effort to leverage our resources and reach ever more students, in 1989 Irvine offered our first Teacher Workshop. Today, Irvine offers five different workshops for pre- and elementary school teachers to help integrate environmental education and outdoor learning into the curriculum.

Training topics include:

• Exploring Animals
• Project WET (wetlands)
• Project WILD (wildlife)
• Project Learning Tree (trees and forests)
• WOW: Wonders of Wetlands
• Sharing Nature with Pre-Schoolers
